On 6 January 2024, Professor Datin Dr. Mariani Binti Md Nor, the esteemed President of the ECCE Council, officiated the Early Childhood Education Expo (ECEE) held at Pavilion Bukit Jail Exhibition Centre.

We're delighted to announce that the ECCE Council had the honour of being invited to the Roundtables on the quality of education on 11 December 2023, where our council was among the 25 individuals actively contributing to the discussions.

In a recent pivotal engagement session chaired by Datin Prof Dr Mariani Md Nor, President of the ECCE Council, a comprehensive review of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) standard programme was conducted.

ECCE Council's President, Professor Datin Dr. Mariani Md. Nor, was invited as a panellist for a discussion on 'TABIKA Pra Tahfiz KEMAS: Building Future Generations." The interview, hosted by Datuk Ahmad Kamal Iris, KEMAS Director-General, aired live on RTM1 on November 27, 2023, at 9:00 PM.

The EXCOs and members of the ECCE Council participated in a comprehensive training programme in Singapore (organised by ARNEC & UNESCO Bangkok). This programme aims to enhance ECCE teachers' knowledge and skills in social and emotional learning (SEL).

The ECCE Council has been invited to the opening, underlining the significance of early childhood care and education in the city's initiatives for comprehensive and inclusive urban planning.

A big congratulations to Ms Karen, our assistant treasurer of ECCE Council and her team for 13 years of excellence in providing quality childcare services. Her childcare center MY Playpen was honoured with a 5-star childcare award!
