On 30th July 2023, Datin Prof Dr. Mariani Md Nor, the President of the ECCE Council, led a delegation to Penang, where they were joined by two esteemed council members, Poh Wan Yi from SEGi College Penang and Rachel Lee.

This distinguished group participated in a pivotal focus group discussion, which was organized by the Penang Women’s Development Corporation (PWDC).

The primary objective of this initiative was to delve into strategies aimed at retaining women in the workforce within the state.

They shared their expertise, experiences, and ideas to address the challenges faced by women in their professional journeys. By fostering an open and inclusive dialogue, the participants explored innovative approaches that could help create a more conducive and supportive environment for women in the workforce.
